Mitch Stedman passed away Dec. 30th 2015. Born in Brooklyn May 23rd 1925.
A young man with a smile and a light that was destined to be a successful man. Mitch Stedman was an icon in the fashion industry for over 60 years. 50 of those years were spent in the California Market Center. He and his late wife, Susan, were a destination showroom. Well known for quality product and a professionalism that will always be remembered.
Mitch was known to always have a smile, a kind word, an open heart and a caring ear.
Mitch fought for the rights of fashion wholesale reps in WA DC. Mitch believed in this industry and did his job with finesse and class. Mitch Stedman mentored many reps in this business and his legacy lives on.
He leaves behind his daughter, Gail, and son, Craig aka Si. He also leaves behind a memory to all those in this business he touched with his heart.
Mitch had a quote in life that is so true for the fashion industry. ?If you keep looking back, you?re just going to get a neckache.? Mitch was a mensch of all mensch?s. He will be sadly missed, but will always be in our hearts.
