There’s a few photogs that we love here at Extra Secretary and Amy Tierney is one of them.? Her studio, f8f11 Images works with some of the best new artists and we always love to see what she’s been up to.? We’ve decided to include her updates here on the blog.? Here’s her latest look-book adventure for a new line out of Chicago.

Amy? was honored to shoot the Spring/Summer 2011 look book for Vagrant Nobility (www.VagrantNobility.com), the inaugural collection from design duo Tim Tierney and Michael Morarity. To see a new designer?s first collection is always so exciting and at f8f11 we love pulling together the right models, lighting, backdrop (and shoot music!) to bring the clothes to life.

Vagrant Nobility debuts a line of vests, button-downs, and styled tee shirts where blue-blood meets blue-collar. ?Cross-tab cuffs, mussel-shell buttons and flattering, close-to-the-body cuts were inspired by the tumult of the mid-nineteenth century and the era of American immigration.? The elegant details bring to mind an aristocratic railroad baron, and the muted palette, and sturdy cotton fabric seem better suited to a car-hopping railroad tramp.? The additional modern twist?? The brand uses eco-friendly organic or re-purposed materials and earth-friendly dyes, like the organic Japanese cotton vest that wears light as a feather and is soft to the touch.? Morarity notes, ?The company is dedicated to seeking environmentally sustainable materials while still ensuring the garments are comfortable and cutting-edge.?? True to the Americana ethos of Vagrant Nobility, each piece is hand-sewn and assembled in Chicago Illinois.

Vagrant Nobility wanted us to deliver images that could serve as look-book, website backdrop, and meet whatever first marketing needs they would encounter ? so we opted for a classic, simple white backdrop. ?The images are up on www.VagrantNobility.com. ?We love the way each picture displays both the amazing detail that is the brand?s hallmark, and also reflects the larger image of the man they aim to dress.? Do you agree? ?Let us know what you think, LA -leave your comments here!
